Hallo Herr Rathke!
Schön, dass auch Sie mit Ihrem Whisky-Club partizipieren. Inzwischen sind es schon über 80 Whisky-Clubs aus Deutschland, Österreich und der Schweiz, die ich auf meiner Website versammelt habe.
Einmal alle deutschsprachigen Whiskyclubs zusammenzustellen war schon länger von mir geplant. Jetzt erst hatte ich mal Zeit und Muße, entsprechend zu recherchieren.
So genau weiß ich nicht mehr, wo ich den EWZ zuerst entdeckte. Möglicherweise war es ein Forumsbeitrag auf whiskymania.de oder der Hinweis auf Walter Schoberts whiskywatch.de.

Hi  Torsten,
danke für den netten Rum Tasting Abend gestern. Ich konnte meine Einblicke was Rum angeht schon vertiefen. Das war schonmal gut. Ist es vielleicht möglich von dem J.M Rhum Vieux und von dem Gardel 11 Renegade eine kleine Abfüllung zum Nachverkosten zu bekommen, und was würde das kosten?
Bei den nächsten Whisky Tastings werde ich auf jeden Fall mal schauen, was da interessantes für mich dabei ist, und wo ich nochmal mitmache.

Historie verkosteter Whiskies und Rums

Wohlgemeint erfolgt der Versuch, möglichst alle jemals durch die Mitglieder des EWZ verkosteten Whiskies und Rums in alphabetischer Reihe zu listen; wohlgemerkt, es geht nicht um die Abfüllungen, die ein jedes Mitglied während seines Lebtags probiert hat, sondern lediglich um die feinen Geister, denen sich mehrere EWZler gemeinsam gewidmet haben, sei es während einer Degustation des Zirkels oder einer bei einem anderen Anbieter gebuchten Veranstaltung. Wie oft wir einen Whisky oder Rum verkostet haben, bleibt unberücksichtigt.  Zunächst werden die Originalabfüllungen einer Brennerei genannt, denen die alphabetisch sortierten Unabhängigen Abfüllungen in der Auflistung folgen.

Möge die Aufstellung den Clubmitgliedern eine Gedächtnisstütze sein und ihnen als Nachschlagewerk für Vergangenes und zu Erwartendes dienen!

Alphabetisch sortiert haben wir im Folgenden sämtliche jemals durch den EWZ verkosteten Single Malt Scotch Whiskies gelistet. Zu jedem Buchstaben werden zunächst die Originalabfüllungen der jeweiligen Brennereibesitzer genannt, gefolgt von den Versionen der ebenfalls alphabetisch sortierten unabhängigen Abfüller.
